National Final

On 28 December 2011, TRM confirmed their participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku.[1]

On 3 January 2012, TRM announced more information about their selection. Moldovan and foreign composers and musicians are encouraged to send in their entries to TRM until 16 January 2012. A jury will then choose a number of acts to proceed to the phase of public hearings. The remaining artists will then perform their entries live in front of the jury, who will shortlist 20 finalists. Three more finalists will be selected through internet voting, making 23 finalists.[2]

Their names of the finalists will be revealed on 11 February 2012. The final will be held on 10 March 2012.[3]
